PHOENIX—Wade Nelson joined Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, Inc. as managing director, West Region Practice Leader | Property Tax Services in the Phoenix office Valuation & Advisory Group.

Nelson's responsibilities include building Cushman & Wakefield's property tax service practice in the West. Nelson previously held management positions at Ernst & Young and Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting.

“Real estate taxes are a major expense to property owners/operators and they are based on market value. Who is more qualified to keep them in check than a commercial real estate company that specializes in brokerage, property management and appraisal or accounting firm CPAs and consultants?” Nelson asks.

“Having worked with both, I would choose the real estate experts. Cushman & Wakefield has the best reputation in the business for a reason and they are particularly well suited to provide world class property tax service.”

Nelson, a native of Columbia, Mo., is a graduate of Arizona State University.
