DALLAS—Metropolis Investment Holdings Inc. has selected Peloton Commercial Real Estate to oversee the property management of Dallas' tallest office tower, the Metropolis-owned Bank of America Plaza at 901 Main Street. Peloton currently leases the 72-story high-rise office building.
Bank of America Plaza contains over 1.8 million square feet of office and retail space and was completed in 1984. This mainstay of the downtown Dallas skyline is outlined by over two miles of LED lighting, making the mirrored tower visible at night across most of Dallas.
"Bank of America Plaza has been one of our firm's most important leasing assignments for the past several years and we are delighted to combine leasing and management operations under the Peloton platform", said Joel Pustmueller, Peloton Commercial Real Estate co-founder. "We believe the combined synergy will enhance and accelerate the re-positioning of this iconic asset."
Peloton has tapped industry veteran Adam Bernhardt to lead the onsite property management team. "Adam's experience managing trophy high-rise buildings, coupled with his commitment to customer service and operational excellence, make him a perfect fit for our team", said T.D. Briggs, Peloton Commercial Real Estate co-founder "In addition, we will be revamping the leasing team to include Grant Sumner, John Dickenson and Joel Pustmueller, who have combined downtown Dallas leasing experience of more than 40 years."
"Dallas has an exceptional number of well-qualified real estate service providers and we believe we've assembled an excellent leasing and management team for one of our most important assets", said Tom Prescott, President of Metropolis Investment Holdings.
Metropolis is currently implementing a series of capital improvements to ensure the building maintains its status as the most prominent office building in downtown Dallas. These improvements coincide with a resurgence in downtown leasing activity and additional infrastructure and capital enhancements within the west side of downtown.
Peloton will relocate its headquarters to Bank of America Plaza in the near future. "The move demonstrates our commitment to the CBD and further illustrates the growing importance of locating in and around downtown for firms in our industry", said Pustmueller.
