NEW YORK CITY—Due to the consolidation of Continental Grain Co., which has occupied the space for decades, the 50,000-square-foot duplex penthouse office at 277 Park Ave. has hit the market.

The space on the 49th and 50th floors of The Stahl Organization's building has not been available for lease since the building was constructed 50 years ago back in 1964. The brokerage firm Cassidy Turley has been retained to market the space for lease. Continental Grain will be relocating at the end of 2014 to the General Motors Building on Fifth Avenue. Anticipated occupancy of the penthouse space at 277 Park Ave. is expected in the first quarter of 2015.

“The office-penthouse at 277 Park Avenue will offer the rare opportunity to take an exceptional space and shape it into the premier office destination in New York City. The future tenant will be able to attract top-tier talent from across the Tri-State region and beyond; the space will serve as the ultimate recruiting tool,” says Gregg Wolpert, co-president of The Stahl Organization. “The office-penthouse is fully customizable and features high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. It's going to be a special workplace, especially if the future tenant decides to build out an open office-space.”
