PHILADELPHIA—Data-center developer vXchnge is planning a 70,000-square-foot facility here, at 1500 Spring Garden St., and expects it to be completed by mid next year. The Tampa, FL-based company plans to make it one of 15 of a network of data centers across the country that it operates.
The company is looking to attract local and global companies that are looking for a high-density infrastructure to support cloud and network-based applications. A vXchnge spokesperson cites the choice of Philadelphia as a good spot for its next facility due to “the city’s rise in prominence in the technology and business worlds.”
