HAMILTON, NJ—When Levin Management took over management of Hamilton Plaza in 2009, the center needed some work. One anchor was dark, and the current anchor tenant, grocer ShopRite, needed to be updated. Fast forward about five years later, after a $20-million renovation, and the center is now 100% leased and fully upgraded.

The last piece in the puzzel was a 4,500-square-foot lease signed by America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, a national chain with 350 stores across the country. Levin's Gloria Mercado represented the center in that deal and David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty was the tenant broker.

Though the lease itself is not sizable, it brings the center fully occupied and follows the plan Levin's team put forth when it took over the center. Since that time, several national tenants have come on board, including Moe's Southwest Grill, Petco and Sleepy's.
