PHOENIX—The Opus Group announces that Louis Zachary joined Opus Design Build, L.L.C. as regional director of construction in the Phoenix office.
In his new position, Zachary will oversee Opus' construction business in the greater Phoenix area and support growth of the recently opened office.
“I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work with Louis again,” says Larry Pobuda, senior vice president and general manager of Opus Development Company, L.L.C. “He has deep experience in the real estate industry and after working together earlier in our careers, I am confident we will have a great partnership as we grow Opus' presence in this market.”
With nearly 25 years of real estate experience, Zachary comes from CSM Corporation where he worked for the past seven years, most recently as director of construction services. Prior to that he has worked at Cushman & Wakefield NorthMarq (United Properties, Inc.), and held construction management positions at Thor Construction, TCM Construction and Langer Construction.
“I am excited for this opportunity and look forward to collaborating with Larry and the rest of the Opus team,” says Zachary. “Phoenix has a wealth of opportunities for us to showcase Opus' development and construction expertise and build our portfolio in this market.”
Zachary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America.
