FREMONT, CA—Colliers International and CBRE recently brokered a long term lease at 5555 Auto Mall Parkway in Fremont.

Synnex Corporation (www.synnex.com), a publicly traded and Fortune 500 company that specializes in wholesale distribution and business process outsourcing, has increased its footprint in the Bay Area. Headquartered in Fremont, Synnex has expanded into an additional 177,041 square foot manufacturing and distribution warehouse down the street. The company currently occupies over 700,000 square feet of space in Fremont.

Synnex Corporation will be move the former Lifestyles Furniture space owned by LS Auto Mall, LLC (dba Lifestyle Solutions – www.lifestylesolutions.com). The building was originally a built-to-suit for Creative Labs' fulfilment center.

The 177,041 square foot state-of-the-art warehouse/distribution space is located in a prime Fremont location across from the Pacific Commons Shopping Center with direct access to the I-880 freeway.

This manufacturing/distribution building was one of the few remaining quality industrial buildings over 100,000 square feet available for lease on the I-880 Corridor, Colliers said.

“We are pleased to be able to accommodate Synnex's expanding needs in Fremont as the market is tightening and large class 'A' space is growing scarce,” says John Steinbuch, of Colliers International's Pleasanton office who represented the Tenant along with Mark Triska, SIOR. The Landlord was represented by Greig Lagomarsino, of Colliers' Oakland office and Brian Matteoni, of CBRE San Jose.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
