TEANECK, NJ — Representing both sides in the transaction, Cushman & Wakefield has completed a 4,800-square-foot headquarters lease with Auramet Trading, LLC at Glenpointe in Teaneck. Glenpointe owner Alfred Sanzari Enterprises was represented by the Cushman & Wakefield team of Richard Baumstein, Marc Graham and Christian Politan. The firm's Mark Zaziski and Marc Trevisan represented Auramet, an International Precious Metals Merchant and manager of the global Resource Income Fund.
“Auramet was seeking a significant upgrade in the company's headquarters location, and we are pleased to have been able to accommodate all of their requirements,” said Baumstein. “The company is a welcome addition to Glenpointe's growing and prestigious tenant roster.”
With the signing, Auramet has relocated to Glenpointe from its previous headquarters at 2 Executive Drive in Fort Lee, NJ, where the company had been based since its founding in 2004.
“When Cushman & Wakefield showed us the property, it immediately became our number one choice because of the strategic location, the quality of the building and the way it is maintained,” said James Verraster, III, Auramet's CEO. “The space itself was multi-functional, open and bright—perfect for us to come in and set up our operation the way we wanted. Both Sanzari and Cushman & Wakefield were very professional and great to work with on this important move for our company. We are now well situated for the significant growth that we expect over the next 5–10 years.”
Glenpointe, with its combination of 650,000 square feet of top-flight class A office space and on-site amenities, is a regional hub and home to a broad range of local, national and international companies. The 50-acre complex encompasses Glenpointe Centre West, Glenpointe Centre East and The Atrium at Glenpointe office buildings; the 345-room Marriott at Glenpointe; and the state-of-the-art, 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Spa & Fitness. Other amenities include a full-service bank, cafeteria, restaurant, wine bar, lounge, covered parking, on-site management, 24/7 security and a variety of services.
Glenpointe's location is also key – it is strategically situated at the intersection of I-80 and I-95, just three miles from the George Washington Bridge, with easy access to New York and New England and such major thoroughfares as the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Routes 4 and 46, and all area airports.
And Glenpointe continues to grow, with approvals in place for the new 242,000-square-foot class A Glenpointe Centre South, with extraordinary visibility and signage opportunity along heavily traveled I-95. The Cushman & Wakefield team is also currently marketing Glenpointe Centre South.
“We required a location that was convenient to the NY/NJ airports and major highways, including the New Jersey Turnpike, for the benefit of our clients and the growing team at Auramet,” said Verraster. “The fact that Glenpointe has a Marriott with convention capabilities on-site was a big plus because we conduct seminars for our clients who visit us from all around the world. We couldn't be more pleased with this location.”
