COLLINGSWOOD, NJ – Another 70 luxury apartments in Collings North, the second and final phase of The Collings at the LumberYard, will be available for leasing on August 9, says Brad Ingerman, president and ceo of Ingerman, which is developing the project.

Ingerman, a developer, manager and builder of multi-family apartment communities, is developing Collingswood's only transit-oriented, luxury apartment community – to meet the strong regional demand for luxury rental housing within walking distance of mass transit. In 2013, Ingerman opened and within months fully leased The Collings South, the first phase of The Collings at The LumberYard, comprising an adjacent community of 34 premier apartments, including seven luxury townhomes with private entrances.

“We are extremely excited to launch leasing for the second and final phase of this premier, complete-lifestyle community,” says Ingerman. “It's becoming increasingly clear that people want to be in pedestrian-friendly locales near mass transit commuting options. In developing upscale apartment communities, it's critically important that we identify locations, like The Collings, where urban centers are within easy reach and where people can walk in order to fulfill their day-to-day needs.”

Collingswood is one of New Jersey's most vibrant small towns. Because of its variety of shopping, cultural offerings, parks and “Restaurant Row,” Men's Journal magazine calls Collingswood one of the best places in America to go car free. The American Planning Association lists Collingswood's Haddon Avenue, where The Collings is located, as one of America's “Top Ten Great Streets.”

“We are extremely excited to see the completion of our LumberYard development with the Collings North residences,” says Collingswood Mayor M. James Maley Jr. “These luxury apartments will complete 180 new residences – more new housing than the Borough has seen in the last 50 years combined – into our downtown. It will be a boon to our downtown and it has created a new neighborhood adding to the vibrancy of our town.”

Housed in a five-story, new construction mixed-use building that includes ground-floor retail as well as Ingerman's new corporate headquarters, the one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments at The Collings North will range from 800 square feet to nearly 1,300 square feet. These maintenance-free residences will be pet-friendly and will include gourmet kitchens with quartz countertops and Energy Star appliances, hardwood flooring and full-size washers and dryers. Residents will also be able to enjoy the community's numerous amenities, including a courtyard with grill, common-area Wi-Fi, a community room and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

The Collings at the LumberYard is situated in downtown Collingswood, near the town's PATCO station, which offers a 16-minute ride to Center City Philadelphia, as well as easy access to New York City, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.

For more than two decades, Ingerman has been developing, building and managing
award-winning multi-family communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Founded in 1988, the Company has developed 85 communities consisting of more than 6,700 residential units with total development costs exceeding $1 billion.
