TEANECK, NJ–The Santomauro Group – a Hackensack, N.J.-based health, fitness, martial arts, and sports consulting and management firm – has been selected to manage Glenpointe Spa & Fitness in Teaneck. The 26,000-square-foot health and fitness facility is part of the landmark Glenpointe complex, one of northern New Jersey's foremost mixed-use developments. Located at the crossroads of I-80 and I-95, Glenpointe was developed and is owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack.
Overseeing the Glenpointe Spa & Fitness assignment for TSG is Tony Santomauro, company president. A health and fitness industry veteran, Santomauro has 39 years' experience owning health clubs, and consulting for health club owners and operators throughout the United States. He also is co-founder of CAN DO Fitness Clubs, with locations in Edgewater, Short Hills and Princeton.

Our goal is to consistently deliver a positive experience to every guest, while making Glenpointe Spa & Fitness the premier community-based fitness center in Bergen County, and eventually, in the whole state of New Jersey.”
Santomauro says his firm will be renovating the facility's locker rooms, adding new cardiovascular equipment and expanding the group fitness area. A new special events calendar will include monthly activities and events for members and the community.
Located at 200 Frank W. Burr Blvd., Glenpointe Spa & Fitness features an indoor heated swimming pool and a wide selection of cardiovascular and strength training equipment. The facility offers personal training, private swim classes, a dedicated cycling room and spacious locker rooms with free towel service. A full range of spa services includes massage treatments, facials and waxing, among others.
Members can choose from almost 70 exercise classes each week, including Zumba, Spinning and Pilates, as well as mind/body classes such as yoga for those who desire a less strenuous workout. Free childcare is available in the facility's Kids Club, and parents can book the pool for private swim lessons or birthday parties. Additional on-site amenities include a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a café and an outdoor sunbathing deck.
