MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ—Kaplan Companies officials, Marlboro Mayor Jonathan Hornik and community members cut a ceremonial ribbon on “Camelot at Marlboro,” a 250-unit luxury rental community on Route 79 in Marlboro Township.

Kaplan Companies president Jason Kaplan says community interest has been strong, with leases signed on 10-12 luxury rentals each week, and more than 60% of the complex pre-leased. Kaplan is targeting Camelot at Marlboro to young professionals and active adults, who can select from one- or two-bedroom rentals.

“One of the key reasons that Camelot at Marlboro is successful is its prime location,” Kaplan said. “The community is close to shopping, dining and the Jersey Shore. It is also close to rail, road and a high-speed ferry into Lower Manhattan.”

Hornik says the project is an example of the type of smart and creative development that brings tax revenue to Marlboro without creating a drain on municipal resources.

Camelot at Marlboro features a 3,700-square-foot clubhouse with a 24-hour fitness center, a resident lounge, a billiards room and a “Kaplan Kids Corner,” with plenty of fun for children. The development is pet-friendly, and includes a dog wash and “bark park.” There is also a barbeque area, tot lot, and electric car charging station.
