A few days ago the Wall Street Journal ran an article “Where Did All the Entry-Level Jobs Go?", and the theme of the article focused on employers who are slashing their budgets for hiring entry level professionals and trashing investment in training programs, resulting in demand for talent that has at least two years of relevant experience.

We are increasingly in a “plug and play” employment market that does not accommodate the training of young talent.
