HACKENSACK, NJ—Joel H. Hammer of Syosset, NY, has joined real estate development firm Alfred Sanzari Enterprises as executive vice- president/chief financial officer.

Hammer, who most recently was SVP/CFO at a public REIT, has more than 25 years' of experience in the financial, accounting, reporting, treasury, operational and administrative aspects of real estate companies.

In his new role at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, Hammer will direct the execution of the company's business plan and strategy, and oversee all finance and accounting functions.

In addition, he was involved in IPOs, and merger, acquisition and disposition transactions.

A certified public accountant, Hammer graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany with a bachelor's degree in accounting. A skilled lecturer, Hammer often is called upon to share his expertise as a guest speaker at industry events, conferences and seminars.
