SAO PAULO, Brazil—Gazit-Globe, a leading multi-national real estate company focused on supermarket-anchored shopping centers, has entered into an agreement to purchase Top Center Shopping in Sao Paulo, for approximately $65 million (R$ 145 million).

Top Center Shopping is an urban shopping center, on Avenue Paulista, a 3 kilometer landmark avenue in the heart of Sao Paulo. The total GLA of the mall is approximately 69,000 square feet (6,400 square meters), and the tenant mix includes Starbucks, McDonald's, Kopenhagen and Havaianas.

The deal was made through the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Gazit Brasil Ltd. of the acquisition remains subject to the fulfillment of certain closing conditions.
