NEW YORK CITY—The Durst Organization has signed Servcorp—a global provider of equipped executive offices and virtual office space—to a 15-year, 34,775-square-foot, full tower floor lease on the 85th floor of One World Trade Center. The space is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2015. With the closing of this transaction, the three-million-square-foot World Trade Center is now 57.5% leased.

Servcorp houses 22 locations in 13 American cities, including three existing Manhattan sites: 17 State St., 1330 Ave. of the Americas, and the Seagram Building at 375 Park Ave. The Australia-based company was founded in 1978 and currently offers a total of 140 locations in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

“As the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center conveys both stature and status upon its steadily growing roster of tenants,” says Jonathan (Jody) Durst, president of Durst. “Servcorp is making a smart business decision that will yield benefits for the company for many years to come.”

Adds Marcus Moufarrige, Servcorp's COO, “As the world leader in premium managed work space, Servcorp only selects the finest buildings for its executive serviced offices. Servcorp is proud to continue its expansion across North America by being a part of the global icon that is One World Trade Center. It is our belief that this will become the world's most recognized address.”

One World Trade Center will mark its official opening toward the end of this year when publishing firm Condé Nast begins to move personnel into the building.

Durst is conducting the building's global marketing campaign in conjunction with Cushman & Wakefield, whose leasing team is led by executive vice chairman Tara Stacom and includes Alan Stein, James Searl and Justin Royce, along with Jodi Pulice of JRT Realty.

The Durst Organization offers a pre-built/build-to-suit program setting aside a total of 94,000 square feet on the 45th and 46th floors for the small space requirements of companies that recognize the value of the building's unique stature to enhance their own brand. Suites with high-quality finishes will be available for November occupancy in sizes ranging from 2,000 to 20,000 square feet.

One World Trade Center tenants will have access to 365,000 square feet of world-class shopping, dining and amenities in 150 shops curated by the Westfield Group. One World Trade Center is being developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and is managed and leased by the Durst Organization.
