HOUSTON--D'Agostino Cos. has broken ground on The Offices at Sam Houston, a four-story office building in far northwest Houston.

Located at 10203 Sam Houston Park Drive, within the 42-acre, deed-restricted Sam Houston Crossing Business Park, the project is scheduled for completion in June 2015 and is currently 60 percent pre-leased to Caterpillar Inc. and Solar Turbines Inc. The remaining 46,000 square feet is available for lease.

“D'Agostino Companies appreciates the opportunity to work with Caterpillar and Solar Turbines and is enthusiastic about this project and the market,” said Bryan D'Agostino. “The strong demand for office space in Houston, combined with the strength of Caterpillar and Solar Turbines, aligns well with our company philosophy of developing great assets for long-term holding periods.”

D'Agostino is aiming for LEED Silver certification for the Class A, 113,363-square-foot office building, which will feature tilt-wall construction, 28,000-square-foot floor plates and a single-level parking structure with covered access to the building. Steve Rocher, Kristen Rabel and Parker Duffie, of CBRE in Houston, are marketing the property on behalf of the landlord. Metzger Construction Co. is the general contractor and Browne McGregor Architects is the project architect of record.

D'Agostino has developed and currently owns more than 25 projects in the Houston area, according to CBRE, including medical, office, retail, multifamily and single-family developments.

In addition to The Offices at Sam Houston, 2051 Greenhouse Road and Vision Park Plaza are the company's latest local development projects.
