DALLAS—Colliers International North Texas recently closed on the sale of two apartment communities through Auction.com. The multifamily team of Bob Helterbran and Mark Freeman coordinated the sale of the properties, which sold for an undisclosed amount to two separate buyers.

“We were able to generate significant interest and sell both properties well above their reserve price,” said Freeman, senior vice president at Colliers in a release. “This showcases the continued strength of the multifamily market as well as illustrates the growing interest and demand for apartment deals in tertiary markets around the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”

The properties are Oakwood Apartments in Fort Worth and Hacienda Villa Apartments in Greenville. Oakwood Apartments is a 216-unit apartment complex that is located on 6351 Vega Drive in the southwest part of the city. This property sold to a local entity based in Plano. Hacienda Villa Apartments is a 100-unit garden style apartment complex on 1600 Joe Ramsey Blvd. North. The buyer is an out-of-town investor who owns thousands of units across the country, according to Colliers.

Helterbran and Freeman are currently marketing another apartment listing, Sycamore Trace Apartments, in Fort Worth.
