AUSTIN–Sizmek Inc., an open ad management platform company, is relocating its Dallas headquarters to Austin and has signed a 17,077-square-foot lease at IBC Bank Plaza in the Austin CBD, according to CBRE. Sizmek already has a sales and operations office in Austin.

“Austin is a burgeoning, vibrant center of the tech community, with a growing number of both start-ups and more established companies, and an ideal place for us to be headquartered,” said Jack Reynolds, corporate vice president of Sizmek's global human resources. “We will no doubt contribute to the 'Keep Austin Weird' movement--and I suspect we will be influenced by it as well.”

Will Douglas, first vice president with CBRE, and Jerry Frey, senior vice president with CBRE, represented Sizmek in site selection and lease negotiations. CBRE's project management team is guiding the design service selection and construction process for Sizmek's office build-out. Travis Dunaway and Jonathan Tate, with Endeavor, represented the landlord.

“Sizmek is focused on creating an environment their team is proud to come to every day,” said Douglas. “This is evident in the building selected and the way this space is being set up. They are a fun group to work with.”

“The decision by Sizmek to land at IBC Bank Plaza in the CBD is indicative of the trend we are seeing with many technology-based operating companies. The 24-hour, downtown live-and-work atmosphere is appealing to firms looking to attract the best and brightest talent base. We are confident they will be comfortable in this location and will benefit from the quality and layout of their new premises,” said Frey.
