DENVILLE, NJ—Projects completed in Denville and Chatham expand for-profit education spaces in the Northern New Jersey market. NAI James E. Hanson signed C2 Educational Systems to a long-term lease at Denville Station Plaza, located at 276 East Main Street in Denville, NJ.

Meanwhile, Sitar Realty Company TCN Worldwide completed a 10,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit project for KinderCare Learning Centers at 45 Main Street in Chatham, NJ. The daycare center is situated at the former location of the Parrott Mill Inn on the corner of Main Street and Parrott Mill Road in Chatham. As part of the development, Sitar Realty Company preserved the historic Parrott Mill Inn originally built in 1780.

KinderCare has signed a long term lease to operate the facility. KinderCare offers year-round child care and early education for children ages 0-12 years. The Chatham location has capacity for 128 children and created approximately 20 childcare provider jobs.

C2 Educational Systems LLC, a personal tutoring and SAT/ACT test prep company will open a location in the 1,845-square-foot former Curves for Women space in Denville in December. The plaza, a 35,000-square-foot shopping and restaurant complex, is located in an upscale residential area off Route 53, a short distance from Routes 80 and 46 in Morris County. NAI Hanson's John J. Schilp, senior vice president, and Ken Fioretti, sales associate, represented the landlord, Denville Station LLC. John Thomas of O'Brien & Company, Atlanta, GA, represented the tenant.

“C2 Educational systems, like many supplemental education companies, was looking to expand in this region,” says Schilp. “Denville Station's highly visible location, near the NJ Transit Denville station and downtown Denville, makes it ideal for the company to meet the demand for its tutoring and test prep services in Denville and the surrounding communities.”

Existing tenants of Denville Station Plaza include CVS, Investor Savings Bank, Weight Watchers, Edible Arrangements and Quest Diagnostics.
