CHATHAM, NJ–Cassidy Turley has negotiated the sale of 4000 Bordentown Ave. in Sayreville, NJ. Formerly home to the Keebler Bakery, the one-story, 900,000 square foot brick building on 50 acres is currently fully occupied with 10 long-term tenants. The building includes two interior rail sidings, 52 drive-in doors and rail service provided by Conrail. In addition, the property is located at the crossroads of the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Routes 1, 9, 35 and 18, making it incredibly convenient geographically.

A Cassidy Turley team led by Chuck Fern, executive managing director, represented the buyer, Green Acres Real Estate. Anthony Baseil, executive vice president, and Scott Maynard, senior vice president of Weichert Commercial Brokerage represented the seller, GJM Bordentown LLC/Sayreville LLC.

“With a combined wealth of area knowledge and keen ability to fully understand and predict our client's needs, we were able to find Green Acres a favorably fitting opportunity at the right time through 4000 Bordentown Avenue, which is an extremely attractive investment,” says Fern. “Matching needs with objectives is just one of the innumerable resources we deliver to our clients.”
