NEW YORK CITY—An executive with a powerful force has been added to the speaker roster for RealShare NEW YORK on Oct. 9th, the 13th annual such conference for the region's commercial real estate industry. Ray Kelly, the longest serving commissioner of the New York City Police Department, will be the subject of a probing on-stage interview during the conference, taking place at the Roosevelt Hotel from 8 a.m. to noon. The premier industry educational and networking event is hosted by ALM's Real Estate Media Group, publishers of GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Forum.
Commissioner Kelly, now president of Cushman & Wakefield's risk management services, will be questioned by Michael Desiato, VP and group publisher of ALM's Real Estate Media Group, on a range of topics from law enforcement and terrorism to property risk management issues, beginning at 11 a.m.
“Besides witnessing one of our most fascinating 'Inside the Mind' sessions ever, CRE execs will learn what's hot, what's new, and where to look for their next big deals across all the property sectors at RealShare NEW YORK,” says Desiato. “In addition to the formal sessions, this is a venue where old business relationships are renewed and valuable new ones are forged.”
Westchester County executive and gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino will keynote the conference. Other scheduled panels include: “Thought Leaders Speak Out,” where key industry players share views on New York's future, sectors to watch, strategies for success, local and national policy issues, and economic and global forces.
