ARLINGTON, Tex.—A 30-year real estate veteran has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance DFW.

Wayne Burgdorf, of Burgdorf Realty Group LP, has joined CBC Alliance DFW as vice president. The North Texas affiliate is led by managing principal Gary Walker.

"By going with Gary, it puts me with a very reputable and well-known brand and a principal with a highly regarded team of professionals," Burgdorf said. "As a solo operator without a known national brand, it has been difficult for me to break into the larger corporate world. I'm confident my new affiliation will make it easier."

Burgdorf is incorporating his firm into CBC Alliance operations. A land broker, he has brought a portfolio of 30 sales listings for more than 400 acres, and several lease listings for office and industrial space. He will maintain his focus on small- to mid-size clients as well as aim to attract corporate accounts through CBC's brand recognition.

"I see in the next 12 months cultivating more corporate-type land listings," he said. 

Notable among his accomplishments is his role in the sale and land swap of 70 acres to seed the Mira Lagos mixed-use development in southwest Grand Prairie.

"I've known Wayne for many years. He is principled and dedicated, the type of professional that CBC Alliance DFW is always seeking," said Walker. "He is a great addition to our team."
