DALLAS–The first grocery-anchored shopping center is coming to Prosper.

United Commercial Development, Terra Verde Group and Venture Commercial Real Estate are behind developments that will bring a 125,000-square-foot store, to be disclosed at a later date, to the 300,000-square-foot center, which will also be the first commercial development at Windsong Ranch. The new 2,030-acre master-planned community opened in June in the suburb, which is 30 miles north of downtown Dallas.

Terra Verde Group, the developer of Windsong Ranch, sold a 46-acre land parcel at the northeast corner of US Highway 380 and Gee Road to UCD led by Robert Dorazil, who partnered with The Kroenke Group on the project. Plains Capital Bank provided financing.
