DALLAS–The new Frost Tower has landed an international tenant.

Dallas-based real estate developer and investor Harwood International has signed a lease with Rochon Family Office, which will move its global headquarters to the penthouse of the new tower when it opens next spring. The lease was represented by Jihane A. Boury and David Roehm of Harwood, Randy Cooper and Charlie Morris of Cassidy Turley, and Ryan Mack of Rochon Family Office.

John Rochon Jr. says the move to one of Dallas' newest office towers represents an important milestone in his family's long-term, global expansion strategy and will be an appropriate home for a group of businesses and investments that are undergoing significant growth.

“Our world headquarters is going to reflect not only what we have built over the past 25 years, but even more importantly, what we are in the process of building now and for generations to come,” he said.

The privately-held Rochon Family Office has both private and public global business interests that extend across a wide range of investments in multiple categories around the world. In addition to Dallas, it has business interests based in Luzern, Switzerland, and has operating companies in 40 countries as well as throughout the U.S.

“For many years, the Rochon Family Office has maintained a fiercely private profile, so taking the entire penthouse floor allows them to maintain their privacy,” said Cooper, vice chairman of Cassidy Turley. “While various well-known companies have moved to Dallas, here is an example of a dynamic company that has not been in the public eye moving its headquarters downtown, to add to the vibrant business energy that our city is generating.”

The headquarters space, consisting of the entire penthouse space (9,446 square feet) located on the 22nd floor, will be occupied by the Rochon family office and the senior leadership of its multiple business entities. The space overlooks downtown Dallas and an outside terrace will allow for panoramic views of the downtown and Uptown areas.

“When Mr. Rochon Jr. came to us, he was looking for a location that was at the heart of Dallas and a headquarters building that reflected their prestige brand focus and their global plans,” said Morris, senior vice president of Cassidy Turley. “They looked at quite a few locations and it became clear that Frost Tower was the perfect match. It is sleek and cutting-edge and its location reflects the dynamic nature of their investments,”

Designed by HDF LLC, Frost Tower will feature approximately 167,000 square feet including two office penthouses with private balconies and over 9,000 square feet of mixed retail, including two restaurants and landscaped gardens along the lower-level.
