HOUSTON--Colvill Office Properties has been selected to market the Galleria Place office towers located at the corner of Westheimer Road and Sage Road in Houston's Uptown/Galleria area.

Formerly known as Galleria Plaza, Galleria Place is a two-building office project comprised of Galleria Place I (5251 Westheimer), an 11-story office tower containing 216,481 square feet of office space, and Galleria Place II (5333 Westheimer), a 10-story office tower containing 179,472 square feet of office space. The project's ownership, The Carlyle Group and Songy Highroads, is repositioning the property as a high-end boutique office project with extensive renovations that are now under way, including a new full-service Hyatt Regency Hotel slated to open in September 2015 and an adjacent Hyatt Place Hotel, also scheduled to open in 2015.

In addition, a new luxury wing is under construction at the neighboring Galleria, which will bring new, walkable restaurants and retail amenities to the buildings' tenant base.

Major tenants in the complex include IHS Global, Bechtel Corp., Brunel Energy and Just Energy. Galleria Place offers up to 158,000 square feet of contiguous space for major tenants in the market looking to take occupancy in 2015.

Damon Thames and Connor Saxe of Colvill will act as exclusive leasing agents for the property and are actively marketing the available space at the complex for a corporate headquarters location.
