CHATHAM, NJ–Shipco Transport, a transportation and logistics solution company, and Sadaka Associates, a law firm, have both acquired new office space in northern New Jersey.

The Garibaldi Group recently represented Shipco Transport in the acquisition of 127 Main Street in Chatham, NJ. The office complex of approximately 25,000 square feet is made up of two buildings with a 2,000 square foot historical building fronting Main Street. The building will be Shipco's global headquarters and will house the company's senior management team.

Shipco Transport is a neutral non-vessel cargo carrier and a one stop shop for those seeking transportation and logistic solutions. The company has more than 70 offices in 30 countries across five continents, which employs approximately 1,900 people.

The Garibaldi Group team of Lee Barnes and Peter Blanchard advised Shipco on the transaction, which took just under six months from start to finish.

Meanwhile, in Englewood, NJ, NAI James E. Hanson has signed law firm Sadaka Associates LLC to a five-year, 1,400-square-foot lease at 155 N. Dean Street, a three-story office building.

The NAI Hanson team of associate vice president Dominic Fittizzi and vice president Anthony Cassano represented both the tenant and the landlord, North Dean Equities Group LLC.

“It was important for Sadaka Associates to find an upscale building in the heart of eastern Bergen County within minutes of Manhattan and the other boroughs,” says Fittizzi. “This property offers the tenant all of those things, as well as top-flight management.”

A 25,000-square-foot property, 155 N. Dean Street is a professionally managed, modern elevator building featuring ample on-site parking. It is located minutes from the George Washington Bridge, I-80, the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 4.
