IRVINE, CA—Matthew McGovern, a 20-year industry veteran, has joined the GRS group as director of the National Leadership Team.
Prior to joining GRS, McGovern spent nine years at Nova Consulting Group, where he was a senior vice president of the capital markets group. Before that, he was a vice president at LandAmerica Commercial Services.
McGovern is well known in CMBS circles and was part of the team that founded National Assessment Corporation (NAC) in 1996. NAC was a national leader in real estate environmental and engineering due diligence prior to its acquisition by LandAmerica Financial Group in 2002. He received his BME in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
