Boston's Tocci Managing Construction on Journal Square Project

JERSEY CITY, NJ— PHMII Associates has named Boston-based Tocci Building Companies builder and construction manager of The Residences at 3 Journal Square.The $55 million project will include ground level retail and amenity space along with 240 upscale apartment homes.

JERSEY CITY, NJ— PHMII Associates has named Boston-based Tocci Building Companies builder and construction manager of The Residences at 3 Journal Square, a 17-story (13 above ground, 4 below) mixed-use development located in Jersey City, New Jersey. The $55 million project will include ground level retail and amenity space along with 240 upscale apartment homes.

As construction manager, Tocci will lead a project team comprised of top industry firms including Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects, engineers Christie Engineering P.C., Dresdner Robin, Barone Engineering Associates, LLC, and interior design firm The Childs Dreyfus Group. The 219,446 square-foot building will be built atop an existing four-story parking garage on a tight 2.47-acre urban site.
