LOS ANGELES—Blake Rogers has joined HFF as director in the firm's Los Angeles office. In this new position, Rogers will focus on mid-range multifamily investment sale transactions in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as work closely with the form's investment sales and debt placement teams.

My business practice has always been based on serving client's needs first, and I am constantly striving for ways to better serve clients and create new relationships,” Rogers tells GlobeSt.com. “HFF's best-in-class capital markets platform gives me the opportunity to offer existing clients a one-stop shop for all of their capital needs. Not only will we be able to market and sell their multi-housing assets, but can now provide existing clients with debt and equity placement services. Using this unparalleled capital markets knowledge will lead to more aggressive bidding on our listings, which ultimately results in more sales proceeds for our clients. Additionally, HFF's contact database of national and international investors will also provide our listings with maximum exposure. HFF already has an exceptional reach in the large institutional market in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas, and I will continue to focus on assets under $30 million, which will complement the existing team.

Prior to joining HFF, Rogers served as the managing director at Charles Dunn Co., where he had a hand in the sale of 1,800 units totaling $225 million. His achievements earned him recognition last year from Real Estate Forum magazine, GlobeSt.com's sister print publication, when he was named one of Southern California's Tomorrow's Leaders.

“Ultimately, our goal is to be the leading multi-housing platform in Los Angeles across all platforms (investment sales, debt, and equity placement) including the middle market where I will be focused, says Rogers about his goals in this new position. “HFF is the top capital markets intermediary in the Country—my initial goal is to utilize that knowledge and the larger team (with my new colleagues) to add value to our collective clients.”
