DALLAS—Retail brokerage firm Venture Commercial Real Estate has added husband-and-wife Trammell and Cheryl Hancock to its team.

“After spending several years in California and gaining experience in industries from fashion to filmmaking, Cheryl and I are looking forward to working together as a team to bring new upscale retail concepts to Dallas-Fort Worth's growing urban core,” said Trammell Hancock. “We believe the people and the culture at Venture Commercial will provide a great place for us to accomplish our goals.”

Trammell Hancock, the son of Lucy Billingsley of Billingsley Co. and the grandson of the late Trammell Crow, joins Venture as an assistant vice president. He is representing both landlords and tenants with a focus on urban listings. Trammell is currently working with several fashion and entertainment concepts from New York, Los Angeles, France and Spain to bring those tenants to Dallas. He will also continue his work on the next phase of Austin Ranch to bring patio-driven restaurant concepts to the residents of the Billingsley-owned master-planned community.
