TYSONS CORNER, VA—Last October, event management software company Cvent thrilled the Northern Virginia community with its decision to lease 130,000 square feet in Greensboro Station, an office building on the Silver Line located at 1710 Solutions Dr. The building was once part of the SAIC headquarters and subsequently purchased by The Meridian Group.

Virginia competed against Maryland for this lease; Fairfax County secured a $1 million grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund for the project.

At the ribbon cutting, though, CEO Reggie Aggarwal said the construction of the Silver Line, which opened July 26, was a major factor in the company's decision on where to locate the new headquarters because it will help lure potential employees. "We are very grateful for all the infrastructure that has been put in here," he said. "Thanks to everyone here for creating the right environment to grow."
