DALLAS—Laurence Elbaum, principal and co-founder of Bradford Allen Realty Services/TCN Worldwide and chairman at TCN Worldwide, recently announced that H. Ross Ford III has accepted a long-term extension of his contract as president and CEO of TCN Worldwide. Ford has been responsible for the strategic direction of the organization and the implementation of all expansion and networking initiatives since 1998.

“We are very pleased to announce that Ross Ford will continue to serve as the president and CEO of TCN Worldwide,” says Elbaum. “Mr. Ford is a true leader in our industry and our membership benefits greatly from the continuity of his leadership. We at TCN Worldwide look forward to his continued contribution in accomplishing our strategic goals.”

Elbaum's term as chairman comes to an end this month and he has overseen several successful initiatives for the organization. Among them, the development of a Reserve Fund, the transition of the TCN Boot Camp to the TCN Institute as a more broadly based educational program, and international expansion that now includes Hong Kong, Australia, India and most recently Italy.

“My goal in taking on the chairmanship was to not only survive the difficult years during the recession but actually see TCN Worldwide strengthen and grow," Elbaum says. "I am happy to say we accomplished those goals through everyone's efforts. As a final step I wanted to be sure we had secured Ross Ford's involvement going forward and we have now accomplished that as well.”

Ford has orchestrated a global growth strategy to successfully expand the membership base of the organization and strengthen its financial and organizational structure. He has over 25 years of experience within the commercial real estate industry.

“I'm delighted to continue on at TCN Worldwide and look forward to further growth and excellence in our real estate endeavors,” says Ford. “Our members represent some of the very finest professionals in our industry. It's an honor to work so closely with individuals of this caliber.”

Ford's personal experiences include managing an international real estate consortium; managing several regional offices as profit centers; integrating varied business units and objectives into a cohesive marketing and sales plan; and acting as designer, implementer and spokesman for corporate policy and initiatives. His areas of expertise include: industry consortiums, brokerage, property and market data management, lease administration, collaborative project management and business development and benchmarking.
