Changing the Tenor of Business Dealings

SAN FRANCISCO—A greater numbers of women are entering the construction world, in brokerage and in transactions positions, changes Jeanne Myerson, Real Estate Forum 2014 women of influence Hall of Famer, says represent the 'beginning of a breakthrough.'

SAN FRANCISCO—“Women in the commercial real estate world tend to be innovative thinkers and are willing and ready to work harder and smarter to prove themselves.” That is according to Real Estate Forum Hall of Fame candidate Jeanne Myerson, president and CEO of the Swig Co.

“Women also bring the strengths of collaboration, flexibility and a ‘get-things-done’ attitude to the business—all important contributions,” she exclusively tells Forum. “More women are joining the business and changing the tenor of business dealings for the better. I see greater numbers of women in the construction world, in brokerage and in transactions positions—these changes represent the beginning of a breakthrough.”
