FOLSUM, CA—The Phillips Edison - ARC trust has purchased a 141,310 square-foot grocery store-anchored shopping center here.

Phillips Edison - ARC Grocery Center REIT II, Inc., says Commonwealth Square, its first California acquisition adding the first property in California to the company's portfolio.
Commonwealth Square is anchored by Raley's, the number one grocer based on market share in the greater Sacramento area. Other national and regional tenants featured at the center include Starbucks, H&R Block, Jiffy Lube, the UPS Store, Smashburger and Papa Murphy's. The company's portfolio now contains nine properties representing an aggregate purchase price of approximately $136 million.

The company says it has a robust acquisitions pipeline managed by its national in-house acquisitions team to continue to identify high quality grocery-anchored shopping centers diversified by grocer, geography, tenancy, lease expirations and creditworthiness.
