ROCHELLE PARK, NJ—Case Real Estate Capital, an active private direct lender and investor, has named Chris Mavros as its chief financial officer. He will also be a managing director and principal of the firm.

An industry veteran, Mavros brings decades of experience in controllership, loan servicing, and asset and property management to his new position.

Chris and I have worked together for the better part of the last 20 years, and I couldn't be happier that he has joined us at Case,” says Sandy Herrick, managing principal and founder of the Rochelle Park, NJ-based company. “He has an exceptional skill set and deep knowledge of our industry. I expect Chris to play a central role as we scale Case up to the next level and further enhance our asset and property management capabilities.”

Before joining Case, Mavros was controller, head of loan servicing and director of management information systems for Hudson Realty Capital. Previously, he was the controller and MIS director at SWH Funding Corp., Platinum Funding Corp., and Solomon and Weinberg LLP, a law firm specializing in commercial real estate transactional services. Mavros holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration and economics from Saint Peters College and an MBA in corporate finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

“Joining Case is like coming back home, as Sandy and I have worked together for nearly two decades,” said Mavros. “We carry with us the key ingredients for success in this line of work – the trust of our investors and the respect of our business partners. I am delighted to be a part of Case and confident that we will be tremendously successful.”
