HOUSTON--CBRE has announced that Houston-based Coats Rose is expanding and relocating. The law firm has moved to 9 Greenway Plaza, from 3 Greenway Plaza, and will operate on the 10th and 11th floors. In addition, Coats Rose's Clear Lake-area office has moved to the new location.

“CBRE advised Coats Rose on their previous lease at 3 Greenway Plaza, which 10 years later would have required major reconfiguration to accommodate the firm's space utilization goals and staffing needs,” CBRE's Ron McWherter told GlobeSt.com. “After surveying options in the CBD, Galleria and Greenway submarkets, Coats Rose opted to relocate to 9 Greenway Plaza.”

McWherter and Paul Penland, with CBRE in Houston, represented Coats Rose in lease negotiations. April Miller, project management director with CBRE's project management team, guided the design service and construction selection process, as well as aided in vendor coordination for the relocation.
