TAMPA, FL—Paul Rutledge, formerly an executive with Casto Southeast Realty Services LLC, has joined CBRE's Tampa office as a first vice president with its retail brokerage group.

Rutledge brings 30 years retail leasing and marketing experience to his new post. Prior to joining CBRE, Rutledge served as vice president and chief operating officer at Casto Southeast Realty Services LLC, where he oversaw the firm's leasing activities in Florida along with the development and redevelopment of projects for the company. He also initiated the third party business, including tenant representation and development consulting. His experience within the retail sector boasts tenure with some of the industry's most respected owners, including Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, Aegis Realty and Trammell Crow Co.

Rutledge has conceived, designed and overseen development of more than two million square feet of retail and has been involved in the acquisition of more than $150 million in retail property in 14 states. His former project involvement features includes such retail properties as: Winter Haven Citi Centre, Pompano Citi Centre, Paseo Luxury Apartments at Winter Park Village and 10 Publix Supermarkets locations in the Miami-Dade County metro area.
