LOS ANGELES—Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester LLP has renewed and extended its 80,328-square-foot office lease at 801 Tower in Downtown Los Angeles with Mani Brothers Real Estate Group. The renewal is the largest lease transaction completed in the downtown submarket in the past 12 months.
The location has served as the law firm's headquarters for eight years. Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester occupy floors 12 through 16 in the tower. Luke Raimondo, the corporate managing director at Savills Studley, represented Manning & Kass in the lease transaction. Raimondo declined to provide a comment.
Located at 801 S. Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles, the class-A office tower has 24 stories, each with nine-foot ceiling heights and floor-to-ceiling windows. It is located near the Staples Center and L.A. LIVE. Although this lease transaction was completed with the Mani Brothers as the landlord, Mani Brothers recently sold this building to Cornerstone Real Estate Group. The purchase price was undisclosed, however, industry sources unrelated to the deal estimate that the property was purchased for $190 million. John Eichler of Cushman & Wakefield represented the Mani Brothers in the lease transaction.
