C&W Nabs Laura Pomerantz as Vice Chairman

NEW YORK CITY—The retail and office veteran, who brings along five executives from her eponymous firm, is Cushman's first new vice chair in 20 years, GlobeSt.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY.

NEW YORK CITY—Cushman & Wakefield has hired uber-retail expert Laura Pomerantz as vice chairman and head of strategic accounts. She brings along five professionals from her eponymous firm, including longstanding associates, Betty Ende and Ilyssa Schwartzberg, GlobeSt.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY. Pomerantz, who most recently served as principal and founding partner of Laura Pomerantz Real Estate and also toils in the office space, is C&W’s first new vice chairman in two decades.

Pomerantz will lead the newly formed strategic accounts group and will be responsible for growing relationships at the firm. Judging by her client roster, she is likely to be a shot in the arm for Cushman.
