CHICAGO—MB Real Estate Services Inc. has just hired Joe Magliochetti and Kerry Kammerer for its healthcare team. Magliochetti will serve as vice president of the firm's acquisitions and Kammerer will serve as assistant general manager.

Magliochetti will lead the healthcare team's acquisition efforts. A 15-year industry veteran, he most recently served as a principal and managing director for Helios Companies, a real estate services firm that he co-founded and grew to more than 90 professionals. He also co-founded the construction and general contracting arm of Helios, and has completed more than $500 million in transactions during his career. Magliochetti sold the firm to Jameson Real Estate in 2010.

“We are pleased to welcome Joe and Kerry to the team,” says Peter Westmeyer, president and managing principal of the Chicago-based MBRE healthcare group. “They both bring a great deal of experience to the team and will be an integral part of our operations as we continue to expand throughout the country.”

Kammerer will assume responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, contract negotiation, capital projects and lease administration. She will also organize operating and capital budgets, conduct transaction due diligence, manage on-site staff and third-party contractors and vendors as well as oversee construction and capital projects. Kammerer has served as an assistant property manager with Hines for the past two years, managing two class A properties in Chicago. Prior to Hines, she worked as a property manager for MBRE.
