SAN DIEGO—CBRE says Paul King will join the company as managing director of asset services in the San Diego region. King will oversee the management of more than 15 million square feet under asset services.
King brings more than 25 years of property management, asset management, construction management, leasing and business strategy experience. Most recently he served as National Leasing Manager for GE Capital's equity real estate group with a 16 million square foot portfolio. He was directly responsible for regional net operating income performance with over $150 million annual revenue. King contributed to more than $700 million of construction-managed projects and $1.8 billion of completed lease transactions.

In addition, Greg Mikrut will join the company as senior associate director for the financial consulting group in the San Diego region. Mikrut will focus on supporting the occupier business by developing business strategies and customized financial analysis for clients in support of their real estate decision making needs.
Mikrut joins CBRE from BioMed Realty Trust where he served as the primary analyst for the Boston, Seattle, New York, North Carolina, Connecticut and the Colorado markets; this included 36 assets totaling 7.3 million rentable square feet of office and laboratory space. While at Biomed, he developed and customized financial models to analyze both cash and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) cash flows that impact potential tenant transactions (new leases, renewals, expansions, lease buyouts, etc.) on a property and market level basis. He also assisted in preparing final property budgets and financial reports for C-level executives. Prior to BioMed Realty, Mikrut worked for Savills Studley, Inc. where served as the lead financial analyst for a team of top-producing team occupier brokers.
“He brings over nine years of real estate experience and will further enhance our ability to provide our clients with sophisticated, industry-leading insight and guidance,” said Frager. “Greg's asset management experience in the life science field will be beneficial to our already strong presence in that Mikrut earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and finance at Vanderbilt University. He also completed additional course work in finance and economics at the London School of Economics.
King earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on economics at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed the Construction Management Program at the California State University at Long Beach.
