LEASES

NEWARK, NJ—C&K Properties has signed Parsons Transportation Group, Inc. to a long term lease for 12,300 square feet at 2 Gateway Center, C&K's class A office building in the heart of downtown Newark. Parsons is returning to 2 Gateway after a brief absence, drawn to the building's superior infrastructure, technological offerings, and onsite amenities. Parsons is the seventh company to sign a lease in 2014 at 2 Gateway, which has seen a marked uptick in leasing activity. CBRE senior vice president Dudley Ryan represented C&K in the transaction; Parsons was also represented by the CBRE team, led by Randall Brown.

HAMILTON, NJ – Real estate and tax appraisal firm PPA Inc. has leased 636 square feet of space at Ibis Plaza Office Suites in Hamilton, NJ. Brian Schneider, PPA vice president, says the firm needed temporary office space in Hamilton closer to a client engagement. “Our home office in Delran would have been difficult for our employees to commute to every day when the work they are doing is in Hamilton and Ewing,” says Schneider. “Ibis Express Offices was perfect for us. We were able to sign the lease and move in the next day. Our employees are loving the location and the amenities offered at Ibis Express Offices like the shared kitchen and huge, clean restroom facilities. We also like that the internet is included and it is very fast!”
