TRACY, CA—Prologis International is ready to break ground on a a new 1 million square foot state-of-the-art facility at Prologis International Park of Commerce in Tracy.

A formal groundbreaking ceremony is planned for Thursday Nov. 6 for the new project.

With a potential build-out of 20 million square feet, the park is poised to become one of the largest logistics centers in Northern California. The site will provide customers with industry-leading facilities in a range of sizes and an optimal location as the closest logistics park to the Bay Area. It will serve 7.2 million people, three international airports, the Port of Oakland, the Port of Stockton, BNSF intermodal and UP intermodal within a 60-mile radius.

The ceremony, scheduled to begin at noon on Nov. 6, will be held at he corner of Mountain House Parkway and Old Schulte Road. Local leaders, state officials and Prologis Executives will be in attendance.
