JERSEY CITY, NJ—Demonstrating the market's strong appetite for high-end apartment living, The Art House luxury rental building in downtown Jersey City is more than 80% leased, with nearly 100 of its 119 residences now under contract, just three months after opening to the public.
Exclusive leasing broker Natalie Miniard of JCity Realty and her team of leasing agents reached the leasing milestone less than three months after the fully-amenitized, 12-story building officially opened to the public in Jersey City's Powerhouse Arts District.
“Leasing more than 80% of the residences in such a short amount of time reflects the unique appeal of The Art House,” says Leah (Pninit) Almog Arazi, director of marketing for Shuster Development. “We're operating in a crowded field as Jersey City has emerged as a true destination for sophisticated and dynamic urban living, and we've stood out in that landscape.”
Located at 148 First Street, The Art House was designed by Fogarty Finger Architects and LWDMR & Associates to integrate modern design into the historic and arts-inspired neighborhood of the building's Powerhouse Arts District location. Hotel-like amenities include a rooftop pool and sundeck offering dramatic views of the Manhattan skyline, a lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga room, kids' room, party room and a bike storage room.
