PHOENIX—Colliers International in Greater Phoenix recently sold the 82,450-square-foot Dove Mountain Centre, a high-end shopping center in Marana. This premier property is located at the main entrance to the Dove Mountain master-planned community.

Mindy Korth, executive vice president, and Kirk Kuller, vice president, both of Colliers International, represented the seller. Paul Schloss of Bourne Advisory Services, LLC represented the buyer.

Korth tells GlobeSt.com, “Dove Mountain Centre is part of the beautiful Sonoran desert. Marana has been progressive in building their infrastructure. There was a lot of interest in this property and the buyers saw the potential and are enthusiastic about a long-term investment in the growth of Marana.”

The class A property, 12080 N. Dove Mountain Blvd., was built in 2006 with mission-styled architecture and upscale design features. Dove Mountain Centre is situated on 13.72 acres with the shop building occupancy of 86% and a vacant 54,343-square-foot anchor space. Long-term tenants include a real estate agency, medical center, hair salon, cleaners and two upscale restaurants.

“The project runs along Tangerine and Twin Peaks,” adds Korth. “It's an important feature to open up residential growth and improve traffic circulation.”

Set in the Sonoran desert in the north Tucson area, Dove Mountain includes custom homes and resort-style multifamily communities as well as 81 holes of championship golf and the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain.

“This is an exquisitely built shopping center within a world-class, master-planned golf community,” says Korth, adding, “The new owner is taking a long-term view of the outstanding quality of this location and improvements, and is eager to become actively involved in the continued success of this important center. It's one of the most attractive shopping centers in the greater Tucson area.”
