MT. LAUREL, NJ—Belgium food manufacturer Puratos Corporation has bought a 57,750-square-foot industrial building at 1705 Suckle Highway in Pennsauken, NJ. NAI Mertz represented Puratos, and Whitesell Construction, the owner of the facility, represented themselves in the transaction.
“With its close proximity to area bridges to Philadelphia and easy access to southern New Jersey's major roadways, Pennsauken is an ideal location for companies looking to buy or lease distribution and manufacturing facilities,” says Scott Mertz, company principal. “This building offers many conveniences and first-class amenities and is a perfect fit for Puratos' rapidly expanding business,” he added.
Puratos Corporation is a Belgium food manufacturer and distribution company offering a full range of products for the bakery, patisserie and chocolate industries. Headquartered in Cherry Hill, Puratos says this will be its fifth distribution center in the U.S. The company also operates an additional five culinary innovation and nutrition centers.
