DALLAS--Avera, a commercial real estate development, construction and investment firm based in Houston, is developing an institutional quality distribution center in Dallas.
The 345,150-square-foot project will be situated on 18.8 acres, located at the northwest corner of State Highway 161 (George Bush Tollway) and January Lane. The development is approximately 12 miles south of D/FW International Airport.
“The development of Park 161 Distribution Center is a reflection of our continued expansion into the Dallas-Fort Worth market,” H.T. “Trey” Odom III, founder and CEO of Avera, told GlobeSt.com. “This project is accretive to other Avera projects in the area, totaling more than 800,000 square feet, and is a critical component of our plan for growth throughout Texas.”
The front-load building will be suitable for up to three tenants, and will feature 32-foot clear height, 60-foot speed bays and 52' x 53' column spacing.
The building was designed by Powers Brown Architecture and the civil engineering was provided by Pacheco Koch. Avera Construction will act as the general contractor.
