CHICAGO—Savills Studley has just promoted Robert Sevim and Eric Feinberg, two of its veterans, to co-heads of its Chicago office. Sevim will also assume the title of executive vice president and Feinberg will become senior vice president. John Goodman, Joe Learner and Rick Schuham, each executive vice president, will continue to serve on the Chicago region management committee.

The coming year will be an important one for the firm, as it begins to take advantage of a merger completed earlier this year that radically expanded its platform. As reported in GlobeSt.com, in May Studley, a New York-based company, merged with London-based Savills plc and adopted the name Savills Studley.

“With the merger we're in a strong position to grow our existing business, but also to expand our talent pool and expand our business lines,” Sevim tells GlobeSt.com. Top-flight professionals will find it appealing to work for a truly global brand and the company plans on expanding its capital markets, retail and industrial business and further boosting its highly-developed office tenant representation work.

The new firm “has a wealth of resources,” he adds, “we have 27,000 employees globally now. And Savills has a rich history of investing in business lines and efforts that support on-going growth. ” It's fine to have a plan for growth, “but if you can't implement or execute it that strategy will have no meaning. We now have very real resources and tools to expand.”

Sevim, 39, has been with Savills Studley for ten years and consistently ranks among its top producing brokers. He has executed over ten-million-square-feet of transactions valued at more than $7.5 billion. He was chosen as Crain's “Chicago Office Broker of the Year” in 2012 with his partner, Joe Learner. Feinberg, 41, has served in Savills Studley's Chicago office for over 12 years, executing over six-million-square-feet of transactions domestically and internationally valued at over $6 billion. He specializes in developing real estate and financial strategies that align clients' their real estate goals to their core organizational objectives.

“As devoted members of the firm's Chicago office for the past two decades, Joe, Rick and I have considered the optimal strategy and vision that will move the office in the most effective direction for the foreseeable future,” says Goodman. “Together, we have decided that it's time to recognize two of our amazing partners that have the client service excellence and leadership talent to manage our dynamic office. We are thrilled to see Robert and Eric take charge and build upon our platform.”
