ISELIN, NJ—Four properties owned by Home Properties, Inc. were recognized with “Excellence in Curb Appeal” Awards at the 21st annual Garden State Awards of Excellence of the New Jersey Apartment Association. Home Properties owns and operates 13 NJAA-member communities totaling more than 3,500 apartments in the New Jersey area.
The Home Properties communities recognized by NJAA are: Northwood Apartments, 375 North Drive, North Plainfield, NJ; Royal Gardens, 3060 New Brunswick Avenue, Piscataway, NJ; Pleasant View Gardens, 258 1/2 Carlton Avenue, Piscataway, NJ; and Pleasure Bay Apartments, 245 Atlantic Avenue, Long Branch, NJ.
Individual Home Properties employees were also recognized for excellence: Maintenance Supervisor Onix Lopez (Royal Gardens), Property Manager Sharyn Kilpatrick (Royal Gardens), Property Office Staff Frances Castro (Royal Gardens), and Maintenance Technician Sergio Vizcaino (Pleasant View Gardens). A new, Industry Rookie of the Year award, was presented to Christina Gurule (Pleasure Bay Apartments).

NJAA's Garden State Awards of Excellence annually recognize multi-family industry members and member properties for excellence in more than 40 categories.
