NEW YORK CITY—In its second recent hire from Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield has brought on Seth Hecht, an experienced landlord and tenant representation, as a director. He most recently served as a managing director at Colliers.

Hecht brings nearly a decade of experience as a commercial real estate professional. During his time at Colliers, he advised a variety of clients in the acquisition and disposition of office space.

“We're proud to bring a brokerage professional of Seth's caliber to an already strong team in New York, and we're looking forward to him contributing substantial value to our clients,” says Ron Lo Russo, president, NY tri-state region. “We anticipate Seth being a highly valuable asset and I'm proud to have a broker with his integrity and character join the firm.”

Cushman & Wakefield recently added Joseph Caridi, former COO of Colliers International, as a senior managing director and a key member of the firm's tri-state management team. Caridi is responsible for driving growth, recruiting and executing strategic initiatives for the region. Focusing on its middle ranks, Cushman also recently hired Douglas Regal, formerly of ABS Partners Real Estate, as a director.

The upper tier of Cushman's management also is seeing changes. On Tuesday, John Santora was promoted to CEO of the Americas, replacing Jim Underhill, who suddenly stepped down. The move comes on the heels of the surprise departure of executive managing director, and head of retail Matt Winn, who left the firm earlier this month to become COO of Olshan Properties. That move prompted the promotion of Gene Spiegelman to head of retail. He previously was vice chairman.

Cushman officials were unavailable at press time to discuss all of the changes. Watch GlobeSt.com for any updates.

While at Colliers, Hecht's clients included Extreme Reach, Nigel Frank International, PNC Financial, Smith Affiliated Capital, Brand Learning, CSA Group, EarthLink and Tegris Advisors. On the landlord agency side, Hecht served as agent for 352 Park Ave. South, 441 Lexington Ave., 501 Madison Ave., 622 Third Ave. and 230 W. 41st St.

Prior to joining Colliers, Hecht worked for the Kaufman Organization as an associate director.
